Step-by-Step Guide

1. The face without make-up. To prepare the face use a moisturiser with a pearl iridescent glow and follow with eye cream and lip conditioner.

2. Using two shades of foundation, apply a lighter shade to the sunken areas of the face and the natural highlight areas (bridge of the nose, around the eye, brow bones, cheek bones, chin) and a darker shade of your skin colour to the rest of the face.
Add a touch of translucent powder down the T-zone to minimize appearance of open pores.

3. Blend well and apply a brown/mauve or sepia tone blush defining the cheeks only.
Tidy eyebrows and brush up. Use an eyebrow pencil to get an even, full brow.

4. This look is all about the eyes. Curl lashes and apply mascara generously. Apply false eyelashes, making sure they are tight to the natural lash.
Use a cream black eye shadow and apply a block of colour from the lash line to the crease. Add a black eye shadow and press on top to create an opaque black and then blend into the crease and upwards, not quite reaching the brow bone.
Keep under the eye very clean, so a dramatic look is created.
On the lips apply a nude colour in a matte texture to keep attention on the eyes.
